Expired Kodak T-Max 100 x Olympus Infinity Stylus: First Roll

As you can see from my last post, I’ve recently gotten into shooting black & white film. I’ve shot rolls here and there, but never quite got attached to it like with color. Maybe it’s my old age or some other force of nature, but lately it’s been feeling really good to me.

Below are some shots from a roll I got back last week and promptly scanned. I don’t know how expired this roll of T-Max was but I know at least 10 years. The effects of expired film don’t show up on b&w film quite like they do with color film so I’m not crediting this charm to that. Compared to the roll of expired Tri-X I posted shots from, the T-Max has an… airy quality to it I guess? Definitely a brighter, crisper look. Maybe that’s because of the 100 iso compared to the 400 speed of the Tri-X. Anyways, here are some shots from the roll that I really like. In the meantime I’m ordering an assortment of b&w films to try out.

All of these shots were taken with an Olympus Infinity Stylus and scanned with an Epson Perfection V600.
